We also went to the nearby town of Hafnarfjörður this weekend. Jó had heard about a Christmas village, which turned out to be a stage on which some kids were singing / playing some music, and about 10 or so booths selling ornaments and other things.
And in one week, we will be leaving for a two week trip to Lebanon! I haven't been there in 2 years, so I'm very much looking forward to it :)

What a beautiful little tree! It's true that a nicely lit tree cheers up the whole space, even when it's dark outside. I'm treeless in Seattle at the moment, but I'm sure my parents have a nice one in Colorado, so I'll enjoy theirs starting tomorrow.
I love Hafnarfjordur... although I've never seen it in winter. My mom in law is there now, home visiting her family. Merry Christmas, and Happy new year out there in the beautiful LAND.
